Bo Burlingham
Some of the greatest companies in America are scarcely known outside their industries. That's because they have chosen not to focus on revenue growth or geographical expansion, pursuing instead other goals that they consider more important than getting as big as possible, as fast as possible. Bo Burlingham - Inc. magazine's editor-at-large and co-author of The Great Game of Business and A Stake in the Outcome - has written about fourteen of these companies in his ground-breaking new book, Small Giants: Companies That Choose to Be Great Instead of Big, which Tom Peters has described as "a Large Masterpiece.” Jack Stack said, "I was blown away from page one. I found myself engaged by new ideas and countless take-home plays as well as thinking about different strategies and directions I can use in my organizations. I have never read a book with more real-life right-on experiences than this one.” In this session, Bo will talk about the small giants' secret ingredient, the elusive "mojo" that makes them great.
