Adaptation of quality improvement theory and practice
is not the same from country to country and within
different communities. This session will consider some
of the challenges in adapting QI to various health care
settings using international examples, including the UK
NHS publicly funded system and the US mixed system.
Participants will be encouraged to share their views
and experiences.
After this presentation you will be able to:
- Describe the problems of international translation of quality improvement principles, terminology, and strategies.
- Explore challenges across international boundaries.
- Create solutions and strategies to deal with international challenges in quality improvement.
