Improving productivity is a high priority for all health
care systems; the National Health Service in England is
no exception. This session will explore two specific
programs developed by the NHS Institute to stimulate
improvement in productivity and efficiency, and will
share the first report of initial results.
After this presentation you will be able to:
- Identify elements of the approach that could be adopted or adapted to your setting.
- Describe the elements of a common language needed to discuss productivity improvement.
- Discuss the benefits of different ways to quantify the scope for productivity improvement.
