This session will focus on methods used to transform a
large delivery system linked to community based care
for children. The steps for transformation used in the
Pursuing Perfection initiative will be outlined using a
framework. Didactic as well as case study methods will
be used to identify challenges and approaches to
engage physicians in transformation, to build
improvement capability in the work force, to align
priorities and strategies to enable large system level
changes to be achieved and sustained.
After this presentation you will be able to:
- Use methods to identify a set of clear strategic priorities for your organization.
- Launch system level improvement teams to achieve breakthrough results and charter improvement initiatives to accomplish the strategic priorities.
- Build improvement capability for long term sustained gain and engage patients and families in transformation.
