The workshop will focus on implementing basic and
advanced quality improvement processes into the
critical care unit and a discussion of overcoming
barriers, the process of spread to other units, and key
principles in making it a sustainable cultural change.
After this presentation you will be able to:
- Engage the critical care unit’s front line providers in creating improvement change.
- Use the principles of standardizing processed, reliable execution of standards to create a learning environment.
- Apply a scientific method of creating change that is safe, effective, acceptable and doable.
