      WalkRounds is a patient safety management tool used by senior leaders. The process offers a prescribed mechanism to engage senior leaders in patient safety, collect and categorize front-line provider concerns and patient adverse events, and use the data collected to prioritize and drive actions to improve safety in an organization. This session will describe WalkRounds and demonstrate how the tool is a key component of any comprehensive patient safety strategy. This session is primarily for senior leaders, patient safety personnel, and data managers.

• Categorize and manage provider concerns and real incidents using the tool.
• Describe how to develop reporting relationships and organizational structure to best manage WalkRounds data.
