      Nurse Knowledge Exchange is an innovation developed by Kaiser Permanente to create a safe, effective, patient-centered, nurse friendly exchange of information at shift change. IHI and Kaiser staff have been working together to spread Nurse Knowledge Exchange to all inpatient units at Kaiser owned hospitals. This session will describe Nurse Knowledge Exchange, the set-up for spreading it throughout Kaiser, and lessons learned about spread in this complex health care system.
