All AIA members should understand their responsibilities for complying with related state regulations and with the Rules of Conduct of the 2004 Code of Ethics. We’ll explore the practical application of the AIA Code of Ethics and of similar states.
Learning objectives:
- Discuss the limit and extent of members and components' ethical, legal, and licensing responsibilities within the AIA Code of Ethics, particularly as they relate to the assignment of credit
- Review tools available through the AIA to assist with the understanding and application of the rules
- Explore the practical applications of the AIA's Code of Ethics through the hands-on, role-playing of a case study.
