Some concepts in green office practices are common sense, while others bloom through sharing ideas, opinions, and scenarios. This program is for the technical and nontechnical professional interested in sustainability, streamlining office expenditures, and better health for the business and employees. We’ll discuss how simple techniques can save money, develop good habits, increase awareness, and contribute to communities and beyond through day-to-day tasks and acts of sustainability and volunteerism.
Learning objectives:
- Discuss simple ways of reducing large amounts of office waste, as well as conservation measures applicable on a daily basis
- Review schemes on supply and library areas to encourage green input, output, and creativity (you'll receive avenues to research further products, programs, and articles)
- Examine ways you can improve business practices, homes, environments, and communities through day-to-day and specific acts of sustainability and volunteerism.
