The way many programs have “integrated” Web journalism is to create an extra course or two. That doesn’t cut it anymore. This session will explore ways to go beyond that approach and to make sure that all students – whether they are taking a Web journalism course or not – have an opportunity to learn about the importance of the Web as a news medium, practice the kind of journalism that it demands, and learn the skills they’ll need to pay off their college loans.
