Survey scores revealed that patient’s needs were different from those perceived by the providers. The facility took on the mission of cultural transformation which led to measurable improvement in their patients’ health care experience. After the presentation, the participant will be able to:
- Explain how to take a conceptual vision and make it reality. The toolkit for organizational improvement includes distributive leadership, framework for improvement (PDSA, six sigma), principles (philosophy of care, patient centeredness), and leadership. The participant will learn valuable lessons on strategies that can make visions into realities.

- Discuss how to obtain real results that are measurable. The Daily Dashboard was a concept that was developed into action. Many organizations have difficulty in finding ways to measure their success or improvement strategies. This example will provide the audience with meaningful ways of how they can impact the behavior of the organization through daily measurement.
