Dennis O’Leary, MD

      Dr. O’Leary will share information on the importance of coordinating and advancing the nation’s health care quality agenda, including the need to change the culture of our complex health care delivery system to fully embrace patient safety and health care quality. Performance measurement is increasingly being seen as a public good, and contributes to a series of major objectives, whether those be quality improvement, public accountability, or consumer information for informed choices. The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization’s long-term goal is to ensure that the American people have the highest quality, safest health care system possible.
