Negotiation skills are indispensable to the process of
securing major gifts. This session will review some of
the most recent developments in academic research
relating to negotiation, and will demonstrate how
fundraisers can take advantage of these findings in their
communication with prospective donors. Participants
will come away with specific strategies that they will be
able to implement immediately to enhance their solicitation
skills.
