This session will highlight the success of the Crocker
Art Museum’s landmark capital campaign to secure a
minimum of $100 million. The presentation will focus
on effective campaign management carried forward by a
small, dedicated, and unrelenting core of leadership. In
addition, the presenters will detail the carefully crafted
case for support that has been widely accepted to engage
new prospects beyond traditional art devotees or “mission
focused” donors to include civic leaders, advocates
for Sacramento’s downtown development, and elected
officials.
