If ACFRE is the pinnacle of personal and professional achievement, then what? Does it imply some level of leadership obligation to our present employer, our profession, our community? Can we use our ACFRE status to pursue positions of higher responsibility as executive director of an agency, CEO of a foundation, or principal of a national consulting firm? Does it imply sufficient status to affect change and offer answers that address societal issues? If not, then what does it mean?
