Across Maine, organizations and professionals engaged in practice transformation have come
together to create an effective and unique model to cultivate, accelerate, and sustain efforts to
improve clinical office practices and outcomes. This session will describe how the network has
provided an opportunity for Program Leaders, Improvement Advisors, and Practice Personnel to gain
improvement knowledge and share experiences with their counterparts, thus speeding learning and
practice change.
After this presentation you will be able to:
- Describe considerations in developing a regional network for health care improvement.
- Identify an effective framework for structuring and executing regional improvement efforts,
accelerating shared learning, and disseminating improvement knowledge.
- Adapt key concepts from planning a regional learning community to facilitate learning and sharing
between multiple practices and organizations.
