It is remarkably difficult to achieve widespread adoption of proven changes across delivery systems and
across outpatient practices on a regional or statewide scale. This session describes how applying five
concepts of spread and designing programs (from the beginning) to reach spread goals influenced the
program design, program metrics, and the business case for adoption within both public and private
delivery systems in California.
After this presentation you will be able to:
- Develop spread metrics for largeāscale programs.
- Discuss program models to achieve spread goals that are alternatives to collaboratives.
