Summer Sessions are very frequently situated in Continuing
Education. This provides valuable opportunities
to cross-platform work, be inventive with curriculum
and instructional planning, and gain economies
of scale. The “marriage” can also create challenges in
terms of a CE unit’s yearly work-flow calendar and its
