This interactive session focuses on the forms of speaking we have available to us that regulate thinking, feeling and meaning, and constrain how we see the world and act in it. The role of language and speaking in transformation will be explored, with a particular focus on leaders.
After this presentation you will be able to:
- Increase your ability for reflection on how language affects thinking, feeling, and meaning.
- Experiment with converting complaints into commitments.
- Explore the value of expressing ongoing regard instead of praise or stroking.
