Ideally improvements in quality and safety would be sustainable. In reality, managers and quality experts continue to find that quality improvement projects using various methods (PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) do not always sustain their gains. This session will outline a framework for sustainable performance improvement based on teaching the scientific method to every associate.
After this presentation you will be able to:
- Assess your organization’s need and readiness for sustained quality and performance improvements.
- Describe how problem solving at the point of care improves outcomes and reduces costs.
- Improve adoption and sustained use of best practices and clinical standards in your organization.
