Eliminating harm in a large complex organization requires managing a portfolio of projects that spans several microsystems, reliable application of evidence, understanding and applying concepts from other industries, sophisticated root cause analysis, and multipronged approaches to achieve significant culture change towards safety. This session focuses on dramatically reducing harm using a variety of methodologic approaches, including state-of-the-art root cause analysis, interventions to transform microsystem and organizational culture, and embedding early warning systems in a large complex organization.
