A18/B18 Using Group Visits Effectively in Chronic Illness Treatment Programs

This session highlights three major group visit models, their respective strengths and weaknesses, and how to make full use of them in practices and in comprehensive chronic illness population management programs. The cost, efficiency, and quality benefits of group visits in a chronic illness treatment program will be described. A new model for maximizing use of group visits will be reviewed.
