Lauren Tucker, Teens Take the City Program Director, YMCA of Greater New York

      The Teens Take the City workshop will share with participants the vision and structure of the YMCA of Greater New York’s new and innovative local civic engagement and service learning program for teens. This program is designed to be both absorbing and exciting. It provides teens an extraordinary level of access to city officials as well as behind-the-scenes visits to city agencies and civic projects. Participants will leave the workshop with ready to start a similar program at home.
