Leave this session with renewed energy and determination to touch the lives of the children, youth and teens in your community in new and exciting ways!
      Performing at the Closing Banquet will be 7th and 8th grade students who are part of the YMCA of Orange County’s Youth Achievers Program. One component of that program began as the result of a generous volunteer, Reza Zargari, owner of Huntington Beach’s A Global Rhythm Dance Studio. Reza started by volunteering one hour per week to teach ballroom dancing to the students and that evolved quickly into a great motivational tool for student academic achievement. The program and hours were expanded, performances began and soon the dancers, success academically as well, reached the competition level of ballroom dancing.
      The evening culminates with presentation of the National CEO Children/Youth Champion of the Year and Outstanding Child/Youth Director and Administrator Awards.
