Jean Wiecha, Ph.D.

      Harvard research scientist Jean Wiecha has been involved with the YMCA through Activate America. She will share highlights of what we’ve learned thus far about improving health promotion and parent engagement through learning collaboratives in the Y. This will include the challenges of organizational change, and the special challenges in programs for children and youth. Hear about our new focus on the importance of child and youth programming and the promise for YMCA programs to stay at the forefront of this field and expand our influence to include health promotion and partnerships with parents.
