Boeing Commercial Airplanes has been implementing lean management concepts in our production system for a long time. We were exposed to Lean Accounting in April 2006 and realized that we could accelerate the implementation of lean in our Finance department and partner with our internal customers in their lean journey. We’ll share with you where we are in our lean journey, and discuss the factors that have contributed to gaining commitment to Lean Accounting in a large, complex organization.
