David Veech

David Veech is the Executive Director of the Institute for Lean Systems. Mr. Veech develops and teaches certification courses, executive courses, and short courses in topics related to human performance (problem solving, motivation, employee involvement and satisfaction, team building, and leadership.) He also provides executive coaching for ILS clients. He previously served as Lecturer and Manager of the University of Kentucky’s Lean Systems Certification Programs and as Professor of Production, Quality, and Manufacturing at the Defense Acquisition University.

Mr. Veech earned a BA in International Relations from Western Kentucky University in 1981, and an MS in Industrial Management from Clemson University in 1992. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate studying Educational and Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Capella University.
