This presentation will begin with a model of social skills, which can lead to better understanding of how to evaluate and improve social skills. Key factors that affect social skills, including those related to Spina Bifida, will be identified. Based on the model and key factors affecting social skills, specific ways will be presented for practicing and improving social skills and social functioning for individuals of different abilities and stages of the lifespan. |
