    The Metropolitan Atlanta Congenital Birth Defects Program has recorded the occurrence of certain structural birth defects including Spina Bifida that occur in the Metropolitan Atlanta area since 1967. This presentation will report on the deaths of infants with Spina Bifida born between the years 1979-2002. The report will include the primary causes of death as well as the documented contributing factors that appear on the death certificates as well as available associated demographic information.
