Two physicians will host this interactive session for consumers and family members to discuss the difficulties encountered in getting both medical and psychiatric illnesses treated in conventional healthcare settings. The speakers will describe the challenges of treating medical illness in people with serious mental illnesses, and explore the potential of combined residencies to address these challenges.
