Leaders from NAMI Maine will relate how they developed and continue to sustain several successful local jail diversion collaboratives. They will describe how to identify allies, how to get started, how to obtain funding, how to incorporate CIT into the larger diversion plan, and how to develop and implement a local strategic plan using the sequential intercept model being promoted by the U.S. Department of Justice.
