The key elements of supportive housing include capital, rent subsidies, and supportive services. This workshop will explore how each is developed and financed. Among the key affordable housing resources that will be discussed are HUD Section 811, HUD McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance, Section 8, andthe Low-Income Housing Tax Credit. NAMI’s policy agenda on affordable housing will also be reviewed.
