The STAR Center will present a workshop on overcoming disparities in behavioral healthcare. The workshop will feature experts, who are also members of the Center’s advisory board, discussing best practices in cross-cultural competence and how the needs of various communities can be met. There will also be a brief update on the COSI project, developing methods to assesses cultural competence in consumer-operated services. The session will be moderated by Jim McNulty, director of the STAR center.
