    As quality assurance practices evolve and more institutions adopt methods to ensure accountability through outcome measures, accreditation standards, and so on, overviewing some key aspects of the quality history and present uses may provide some insights for future applications. Presenters will explore some recent case studies on accreditation and community service. These cases, when contrasting against capital intensive industries with knowledge-based enterprises, may suggest alternate and effective ways to provide quality out-comes for the institution.
