Student and Customer Services Models for Recruitment and Retention

    Institutions are increasingly challenged to try new methods of recruiting and retaining students. This session considers three models that offer distinctive ways of reaching and/or retaining students.
    Arizona Universities Network (AZUN)—an independent call center funded by the Arizona Board of Regents to serve the three Arizona state universities, staffed by Northern Arizona University.
    Compass Knowledge Group—a private company that provides recruitment and retention services for 20 distance learning programs that they support for eight diverse not-for-profit universities.
    Washington State University—an in-house system of student outreach and support using advisors and support programs/software to attract and retain students.
