This session will introduce the winner of this year’s UCEA Frandson Award for Literature, which analyzes and synthesizes findings of over 40 FIPSE grant-funded distance education projects from across the USA, and how these findings can benefit the work of professors, administrators and grant writers. Kathleen King, one of the book’s co-authors, will present the findings and lead a discussion regarding the chapter ‘New Perspectives on Instructional Effectives in Distance Education’, which has wide breadth of application and depth of insight. In addition the session will introduce a few resources for distance learning and grant writing. |
