      Jay is the Founder, President and CEO of eTapestry. During the last eight years he has been instrumental in shaping the dynamic structure and focus of the company, which has revolutionized how databases are used in the charity world. Presently over 6,000 customers are using technology successfully via their help and expertise daily. Prior to eTapestry, Jay served as President and CEO of Master Software Corporation. MSC provided the most widely used family of database products for the non-profit sector. During his thirteen years at MSC, Jay was responsible for the implementation of nearly 6,000 non-profit database systems all over the world! After the merger with Blackbaud, he served as Vice President and was involved with over 15,000 additional non-profit database systems!
      Jay is a graduate of Butler University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.He currently serves on the board of the School of Liberal Arts at Butler. Due to Jay's 23-year career in the Non-Profit sector he is a well-known speaker in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
      Jay serves on the boards of numerous national and local non-profit organizations. He helped establish and endow the Indiana based TechPoint Foundation with over 1.25 million dollars. He is also on the board of the nation-wide ePhilanthropy Foundation. He recently became a founding board member and Chairman of NPower a charity dedicated to helping non-profits with technology. In 2005 he joined the board of Gleaners Food Bank. He is a past member of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy Board and a member of the Strategic Planning Task Force there. He is currently an active member of both AHP and the Association of Fund Raising Professionals.

      This session explores three key factors of fundraising success. They are donor Relationship Building, Prospect Research, and efficient Recordkeeping. The three R's directly impact every fundraiser's results.Drawing upon his experience as a trusted partner to the non profit sector for over 23 years as well as his service with numerous non profit boards, he outlines various steps each of us can pursue. Actual examples of each of the Three R's in daily action are illustrated. Many of the examples reflect the latest breakthroughs in technology and communications.
