Our Speakers: Alan Kent is the president and CEO of Meadows Regional Medical Center, an independent 122 bed hospital located in Vidalia, GA. In this role since 2000, he has been a hospital CEO or COO for nearly 20 years in both nonprofit and for profit facilities. He has also been a management consultant. The hospital has 575 employees in three locations and has been playing The Game for three years. Tom Schramski, PhD is the founder of Salience Consulting and a Coach for The Great Game of Business. In 1980 he co-founded Community Provider of Enrichment Services (CPES) to help families who deal with developmental disabilities and mental illness. In 1995 he transformed CPES from a struggling public/private venture to a 100% employee- owned company. By playing The Great Game, CPES grew exponentially, and its 700 employees received several "best practices" awards. When Tom left CPES in 2004, the company was widely recognized as one of the top 100 employee-owned companies in the nation. |
